Racing Welfare To Host Digital Royal Ascot Preview

John Gosden will be a panelist on Racing Welfare's Royal Ascot preview | Racing Post

Racing Welfare will host a live digital Royal Ascot Preview Evening on June 11, with proceeds benefitting the charity's COVID-19 Emergency Appeal. The event will be hosted by Nick Luck and the panel will include champion trainer John Gosden, Racing TV presenter Lydia Hislop and Sky Bet/Sporting Life Head of Sports PR Michael Shinners. Further panelists will be announced at a later time.

Tickets are £10 with 'attendance' to be capped at 1,000. Sporting Life has sponsored the event and the panelists have donated their time; each will be given a £100 charity bet, with proceeds going to Racing Welfare.

Sky Bet/Sporting Life's Shinners said, “Sporting Life are delighted to support the Racing Welfare Royal Ascot Preview Evening. It looks set to be an excellent evening and hopefully the panel will be able to point viewers in the directions of a few winners.”

Racing Welfare's Chief Executive Dawn Goodfellow added, “We are really thrilled to have partnered with Sporting Life for the preview evening, which promises to be a fabulous event in the run up to Royal Ascot. It's a great opportunity for us to continue our fundraising activities in a new and exciting way and we are really looking forward to the evening. I'd also like to express thanks to all of our guest panelists for showing their support for Racing Welfare by being part of the event.”
